Tire to green jump to pink jump on left, a fourth jump straight ahead and then the dog walk on the right.

This weekend's courses were some of the most challenging this year.
Saturday in both Jumpers and Standard only 4 Excellent B 20" dogs qualified out of 46! I have extra copies of Sunday's jumpers for anyone that would like to see what Novice, Open and Excellent looked like.
They were fun to run.

Check out all the smiles!
Everyone tried hard and the dogs were super to put up with the heat.
Please post your brags both large and small in the comments below.

Echo and I had a fun weekend. Saturday's Jumpers was an "almost". We were moving along great until the very end when I pulled her off a jump. In Standard, I was so pleased that we accomplished two of the difficult spots people were having problems with!
We stopped at Pet Club on the way home where Echo enjoyed greeting everyone. I realized that the Aussies wiggle butts, Collies wiggle shoulders!
It was just nice to be able to complete a two day weekend this year, finally! On review I am really pleased with both the M's. Magnum gave a great effort all weekend although I am sure he was tired after the last two weekends out running in the hunting fields. And Merlot - Sydney told me she had controlled one of her Merlie Girlie Whirlies coming out of the tunnel on Saturday which resulted on a fly off from practically the top of the A-frame (the photo proves it) gave me some really nice runs with good efforts and some fast jumping sequences. Can't wait till the next trial the end of September. I just know we will have better teamwork now that we are out and really concentrating on agility again. Fun weekend. Good company, dogs and humans alike!
We had a fun weekend. We managed to get our first leg in Novice Fast. We were the only team with a Q in Novice Fast on Saturday. I enjoyed running a coarse that I can't get lost on.
Zorro LOVED running in the grass in the cool of the morning, and I think there was smoke coming off his paws. Now I have to lean to be a better handler to steer that boxer! We don't quite have the flat out zoomies as there is still some control but he takes too many "extra" jumps in his exuberance. I enjoyed seeing my dog so happy, and it will come together. For the first time I actually heard Zorro make a LOUD thump thump in the tunnel when he banked the curves! I felt better when I hear that those courses were REALLY hard, I thought it was just me.
Christy,
I have loved watching Zorro at the last 2 trials. He has really looked like a dog having a whole lot of fun. Ultimately that is what it is all about, a fun game to play with our dogs. The real success is when you get a cherished photo of a happy dog. Zorro had his share of great photos lately.

Speaking of photos...There are two of Zorro this weekend that are great - the one on the pink bar jump (love the expression) and the A-frame. Kerry has some great weave pole photos and there is one that looks like the judge is getting out of Jennifer's way!
One thing I can tell you for sure is that pictures will bring back memories long after our furry friends are gone. Don't miss the chance to purchase a photo!
Where is Kerry? I found everyone else.
You'll find Kerry in Novice Standard. There are a couple of Blue Merle's - look for Jennifer in the shot.
