Congratulations Chudleigh!

We received the following news from Christy:
Saturday Chudleigh competed in agility for the very first time at the Vizsla trial up in Santa Rosa. He took an off course in jumpers, but managed a 95 and a first place in standard! There were 6 dogs in 24" novice B, and Chuds was the only qualifier. He had a great attitude and actually listened to me, unlike what Zorro tends to do.

That was a day for the memory books, I was so pleased with the way Chuds paid attention to my direction. The torrential rain beating on the roof spooked him a little, but he finally shrugged it off.

It still feels like a dream, my wild boxers have never qualified on their very first time in the ring!

Christy,
I'll bet that rain made a racket on the metal roof! It sounds like the two of you were so in tune with each other that it didn't matter. Good job!

Thanks guys. I forgot to mention that Chudleigh was the first dog in the ring in both classes. That has never happened to me before. Of course it helped that I had run Zorro in open earlier so had a feel for the rings. I always like to see a few people run the course before I go in to see if what I had planned to do really works or flops for lots of teams.
